The American Medical Association (AMA) Minority Scholars Award:
This scholarship is open to underrepresented minority students in their first or second year of medical school. The award provides up to $10,000 in funding for tuition and other expenses.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Minority Medical Faculty Development Program (MMFDP):
This scholarship is open to underrepresented minority students in their first or second year of medical school. The award provides up to $20,000 in funding for tuition and other expenses.
The AAMC Minority Scholars Program:
This scholarship is open to underrepresented minority students in their first or second year of medical school. The award provides up to $10,000 in funding for tuition and other expenses.
The American Indian Graduate Center Scholarships:
This scholarship is open to American Indian and Alaska Native students in their first or second year of medical school. The award provides up to $10,000 in funding for tuition and other expenses.
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund:
This scholarship is open to Hispanic students in their first or second year of medical school. The award provides up to $5,000 in funding for tuition and other expenses.
The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program:
This scholarship is open to students in their first or second year of medical school and committed to serving in underserved communities after graduation. The award provides full tuition, other expenses, and a living stipend.
The Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP): This scholarship is open to students in their first or second year of medical school and committed to serving in the military after graduation. The award provides full tuition, other expenses, and a living stipend.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program:
This scholarship is open to students in their first or second year of medical school and who are committed to pursuing a career in biomedical research. The award provides full tuition, other expenses, and a living stipend.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program:
This scholarship is open to students who are in their first or second year of medical school and who are committed to pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) research. The award provides full tuition and other expenses, as well.
Wayne Anthony Butts Scholarship
Scholarships for future doctors are available through the Wayne Anthony Butts Foundation. Prospective students should be in either their first or second year of college. In order to practise medicine, they need to enrol in a school in the New York area that has been officially recognised as such. They need to be from a group that is statistically under-representative. The cash prize is $3,000.
Manhattan Central Medical Society Scholarship
One medical student will receive the Manhattan Central Medical Society Scholarship each year. You need to be a freshman, sophomore, or junior to apply. They need to be people of African descent living in the New York City area. The prize money totals $2,500.
AAMC Herbert W. Nickens Medical Student Scholarships
There are five annual winners of the AAMC Herbert W. Nickens Scholarship. Anyone applying must be in their third year of medical school. It is important that they have a strong desire to help underrepresented groups gain access to medical training. Students are put forward for consideration by medical schools. They should include a CV, a personal statement, and two letters of recommendation. It’s a $5,000 prize.
Tylenol Future Care Scholarship
Graduate students might get funding from the Tylenol Future Care Scholarship programme. Medical, nursing, and pharmaceutical careers are all acceptable options. Candidates are required to detail their commitment in the community and provide a personal statement. Ten lucky pupils each receive ten thousand dollars. Twenty-five students will each get $5,000.
The Brown Medical and Educational Society Healthcare Scholarship
Scholarships are available for both undergraduate and graduate students at Brown University from the Brown Medical and Educational Society. Anyone interested must be enrolled in an accredited healthcare programme. Applications are encouraged from students from underrepresented groups. A cumulative 2.5 GPA is required of all applicants.
Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fund
The fellowships provided by the Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fund are for advanced study. Prospective students are free to major in anything they like, even medicine. To qualify, they need to attend a specific college or institution and achieve academically. They also have to be in dire straits monetarily. Winners of these scholarships receive $18,000 in addition to having all of their educational expenses paid for.
The Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship
About fifteen to twenty students each year receive the Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship. Members of the National Hispanic Medical Association are eligible to apply. They are obligated to acquire advanced degrees in one of several disciplines, one of which being medicine. They must have a strong desire to see Hispanic neighbourhoods flourish in terms of health. They are also required to take part in events for NHHF Scholars Alumni. The needed grade point average is 3.0. Candidates are expected to include a personal statement, a letter of recommendation, and official transcripts. It’s a $5,000 prize.
Japanese Medical Society of America
Scholarships are given out to JMSA members by the Japanese Medical Society of America. All applicants must be majoring in medicine or a related health discipline. This position is open to advanced undergraduates, medical students, dental students, medical residents, dental residents, medical fellows, and postdocs. An applicant’s demonstrated dedication to Japan and the Japanese people is required. They must submit a proposal for a project that advances the goals of the JMSA in order to be considered. Award amounts are between $2,500 and $12,000.
